President’s Day Weekend:
Long and academically unproductive. On Friday, I went to the dragshow to show support for the student commissions. I really hope I won’t have to do this next year if I become the ASC Director…haha.

Potentially the next Pacific Islander Commission Director

Saturday was the JSA Matsuri, and I have to admit that I was surprisingly impressed. The ambiance turned out well as well as the fashion show, although not exactly what I was expecting. This picture really doesn’t do the festival justice, but it shows that the indoor tents and streaming lamps were my idea. Hehehehe.

The room was actually a lot darker and moodier

This pic’s for Lucy: I still wear these pink boxers haha!

Overall it was a fun weekend, but I feel really guilty about having too much fun and not concentrating enough on school. I’m going to get my econ midterm back tomorrow, and I’m pretty sure that I bombed it considering I drew a dinosaur as one of the answers.

Another long and tiring week is ahead. I’d better go to sleep. G’nite

  • Lol. You drew a dinosaur? Awesome. If I was the grader, I’d probably give some points for amusing me. Sadly I don’t come across those kinds of “answers” often.
Great job on the matsuri. It was my first and last, so I’m glad the event turned out well and the food was yummy. Taiko rocked that night. =D And props to Aaron for running the food committee; the karaage was the best. so pass on my comment to him!
What’s the next event planned for JSA? Semi-formal?

    • the next big JSA event is the semi-formal
      HOWEVER!
the next big event in general (or at least the one I’m promoting) is the ASC Talent Show. I’m in the opening act and in charge of programming for that so go go go! I’m pretty sure I sent you a facebook invite.
