Talking to certain people is just EXTREMELY annoying.
Everything they say just gets on your very last nerve.

Is this an internal thing? Is there something wrong with me?
Or…do I need to just stop associating myself w/ these lunatics?

Watching this white dude teach Thai on Youtube. He’s actually pretty good! But as I was listening to the lessons, I never realized how good my listening actually was (at least when listening to foreign speakers and not fast hipster, trendy, teen-speak, Thai lingo). In one of his videos, he uses and explains a common idiom ไปไหนมา (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oUNUUGRMQaI). Basically, they’re words that make sense on their own but mean something different when combined together. I’ll be teaching the same thing in my own English classes, but this is usually reserved for the upper intermediate – advanced courses.

This boosts my confidence in understanding Thai. BUT. My speaking still sucks and my writing is non-existent. Sooo. Sonofa…equally as useless haha. No matter – I care more about Chinese any way…which I suck even more at currently. alksjdf;laksjf Urgh.

I don’t know the key to success, but the key to failure is trying to please everybody.

Is it wrong to sit back and allow someone to make their own mistakes?

On one hand, it’s really none of my business to interfere with the decisions of others. If I keep a ‘mind your own business’ mentality, I believe that others would find this more socially acceptable. Although I have my strong opinions, perhaps it’s better for others to learn the hard way. Even after I have given my advice on countless occasion, someone still remains oblivious and continues down a losing road. Is it right to just sit back and watch this happen?

On the other hand, would it make me a bad person to do nothing? Is this moral? What would you do, really. I find myself a villain no matter what the choice.

You know my slang is reaching scores of new levels.
Unfortunately, I don’t get the proper respect. Siiigh.

Observation:
Asians order their food/drinks quietly.
(There’s no need for people to know my business.)

Caucasians order noisily.
(Making your presence known is to gain respect from your surroundings.)

I suppose there’s no correct way of doing things, but I just wanted to point out the different perspectives that people take when it comes to the most mundane practices of every day life. Shows us just another one of those underlying contrasts that make cultures around the world so different.

It’s not that I become angry when I don’t get things my way,
it’s when people continuously fuck up in the same exact ways
that makes me so mad.

I got a job!!!

Well…I’m actually not that excited. It’s a part time job just to get some income at Yuen Lui Photography Studios in Bellevue. Some things to look forward to:

01. 2x the pay than @Photomania (although still minimal)
02. being back in the photo studio
03. making a really beautiful commute across the lake every day

Aside from that, I’m still interviewing for jobs abroad. Korea is looking more appealing, but Taiwan is still my number one choice. We have to see how everything pulls through in the end though. In addition, I should start looking up French locations…even though I don’t have good experiences from France, perhaps it would be wise to give them another shot.

Actually, I take it back. This is probably a fad of infatuation because of all the good French music I have been downloading lately. Har har har.
