Tired of weekly maintenance: nail clipping, grocery shopping, taking out the trash, laundry. Haha now that I’m writing it down, it all seems so mundane. But it takes up so much energy and time nonetheless.

I wrote a sentence in Chinese, and it looks like everyone is going crazy over it’s overbearing dramaticism. Haha – I’ve still yet to know how deep connotations can be when writing in Chinese.

I actually meant to write to show how pissed I was about something (more like extremely annoyed), but it came out like I was in a deep, sorrowful anguish. How embarrassing. Let’s hope it blows over soon too. Goodbye haha

I went from absolute boredom a few months ago, to being completely swamped in this very moment. I’m working Yuen Lui full-time, taking my teaching modules, piling through my Fulbright application, then working w/ my friend on starting an IT company. Four things that consume my life but make me happy in the moment. I suppose this was the environment that I was meant to thrive in, but we’ll see good everything turns out. Albeit, I know something will have to drop in the end. Fulrbight should end soon and the teaching modules will be over eventually as well. It just depends on how soon.

On top of all this, I volunteered to work at the Aki Matsuri next weekend. What was I thinking…but it will be a welcome change for me to do this. I hope I’m making the right decision and not wearing myself out too much.

Haha I can’t believe I wrote this:
I realized the dichotomy between Asian-American and, for lack of an all encompassing term, Asian-Asian cultures.

Thank gods for proofreading and the revision process.
