Bored a bit this Saturday night
When’s the last time I went out on a Friday or Saturday night?
When’s the last time I painted the town red without regret?
Being bored and sitting around leads to a lot of introspection. This can get dangerous, though I’ll indulge a bit and spew out some thoughts on my current state of affairs.
I’ve written this entry time and time again, but I really regret the fact that I am no longer connected to the people of this city – of course there are a few exceptions. Mostly all the people who I would have hung out with have moved away. Perhaps they were the only ones I would have even grown close with. Then why don’t I just pack up and move out? Why I am still here? Resume boosting is a big reason, but I wonder how much longer I can put up with this dullness and complacency.
My internal planning tells me to begin searching on May 23.
The Gentle Breeze Sings
Lovely theme. I want to play Xenogears again. One of the best RPGs ever made, in fact. I now realize that great music is defined when it stirs your emotions, sparks your memory, and transports you to another place entirely.
50 Most Stylish New Yorkers
Honestly so inspiring.
No one in Seattle dare even attempt being so bold.
Want more? StyleCaster
Oh yeah, my leg warmers
I really need to wear them more,
especially before it gets warmer.
Keep forgetting I own them.
Trash mash
Real World: Las Vegas premiering soon. I’m so excited haha. Go trashy television.
Watching all those kinds of things gets me so pumped up, remembering the glory days of cage dancing on stages in foreign lands haha. Speaking of which, just downloaded Ke$ha’s ‘Blow’. Actually, come to think of it, people are actually living out those times of their lives right now. In which case, I grew up too fast – too over it. But times were fun while they were around.
No need
No need for gratitude.
I do for others what I wouldn’t get in return. I should just do it for the sake of being a good person, but then again, I can’t help but want some type of acknowledgment from the person I lent a helping hand.
What am I to do? They succeed because of me. They excel because of me. Hate to be cocky, but I’m just telling it like it is – the absolute truth.
Eurotrip #2 Planning
Man this trip planning is stressing me out.
It’s hard to find people willing/wanting to go so last minute. And knowing my luck, they’ll still end up going a week after my return flight. Although it would be nice to go alone on a whim, I’m a little afraid of the loneliness. I’m not the best at just going up and meeting new people — or I was — but no longer.
Hate how this deal springs up last minute and forces you to flip your life around to accommodate it. But $400 RT to London is such a good deal, so I have to seize the opportunity. We’ll see how this plays out, though my gut at this point is telling me that I won’t be going at all…maybe…haha.
Seattle -> London -> Berlin -> ______? -> London -> Seattle
Madrid, Spain
Nice, France
Amsterdam, Netherlands
Vienna, Austria
Dublin, Ireland
Resist the temptation
Shame on me for opting out of snowboarding for tomorrow!
I am doing so to get ahead on work so I’m not left scrambling and going crazy all next week. Plus, this is an excellent way of saving money. I won’t have to get my board waxed either until Whistler where it will be fresh and slick.
My weekend agenda (w/ just enough ambiguity to protect client-specific projects haha):
- Create PPT for booth
- Start on the cityscape, call Bob first
- Write ‘About’ Section
- Write follow-up to freelancers
- Finalize London/Berlin, hopefully
- Call Mom to explain her birthday present
- Read ‘Creative PR’
* consume Lavender milk tea!
Nine
9 spots of red. 9 spots with flaring or allergic reaction.
I hate eczema. When will they ever find a cure? I hate my skin.
I’m going to find another dermatologist tomorrow.
The last one was nice…but pretty useless
