Beautiful Morning
I have noticed it more this year versus any other. People have always said that the dark skies of Seattle affect your mood, turning you somber and depressed. I did not quite know what they were all talking about until recently. How can spring be so dreary and cold? I had no idea just how much the sun would really mean to me. Really, all I am asking for is to feel the warmth on my skin – and actually find an opportunity to wear my spring wardrobe nyuk nyuk. Who knew that something so slight could go a long way. Moral of the story: I could never be a vampire.
Though this type of weather gives you a greater appreciation for days when the sun does peak through. This morning, I woke up with the sun shining through my window. I automatically felt that it was going to be a good day. The Seattle lifestyle trains people to seize the moment when sunshine presents itself. It is the notion that people are attracted to scarcity. You go from the dismal rock bottom to the tip of elation in a split-second. Though I am not sure how long I will be able to tolerate this type of bipolar weather. It just might end up turning me bipolar as a result.
Sunday Work
I can’t bring myself to be efficient lately. Working at Roy Street Coffee and Tea House. Went home early because I was dressed too trendily, and it was physically uncomfortable haha. Next time I’ll go out in my Snuggie.
So Hungry, Weekend Schedule
Alcohol ruins my life again. More like ruining my brainpower and workout routine. I’d like to stop a while, but in this line of work, it’s so necessary. Any way, that’s a tired topic long said and griped about.
My weekend agendas:
– Groceries
– Fix watch, glasses
– Finish the work I should have done all week but was too lazy to…@ Roy Street Cafe
It should be sunny on Sunday. Looking forward to it.
