I didn’t realize it was so hard planning a trip through Europe.
So here’s the plans so far: tell me what you think…

1) Seattle –> Las Vegas
2) Las Vegas –> London, UK
~ (Scotland? Ireland?)
3) London –> Berlin, Germany
4) Berlin –> Prague –> Berlin
5) Berlin –> Copenhaggen
6) Copenhaggen –> Amsterdam
7) Amsterdam –> Paris
8) Paris –> Seattle

OKAY no nevermind I totally revamped my itinerary.
Here’s the new one :

Starting on: Aug. 1
1) Seattle –> Las Vegas
2) Las Vegas –> London
3) London — > Paris
4) Paris –> Brussels
5) Brussels –> Amsterdam
6) Amsterdam –> Italy: Rome/Vatican City, Florence, Venice (in that order)
7) Venice –> Vienna
8) Vienna –> Berlin
9) Berlin –> Prague –> Berlin
10) Berlin –> Copenhagen
11) Copenhagen –> Seattle
Ending on: Sept. 20

…phew. I’m debating fitting in Rome/Venice, Krakow. due to…I don’t know cuz I feel like it. I don’t know this shat is waaay hard to plan. I don’t know where Krakow is besides Poland but I know that Italy is pretty out of the way unless I just plan on stopping by there one weekend. Who knows. Other than that everything else is on the way toward Paris. I’m gonna do a little hook type travelling thing after my classes get done in Germany.
The new plan is to arrive in Europe a month early and get all the exploring/backpacking done in the beginning. Then after the long road I will remain in Berlin where I will go to school @ Humboldt University for a month and then go to Prague for a field trip. After that’s all done with, I have a week before school starts again so I will stop by Denmark for a few days and hang out w/ Joy because she’ll be doing some kind of architecture program there all quarter. Phew!!

Still…my plans are probably subject to change due to….oaisdfasdjfkaljcs;!! haha

Maybe because I’m scared to travel alone like that. I’ve never done such a thing before but I guess if I do I won’t regret it in the long run. Bah!!! I need suggestions. Oh by the way, here’s a map for reference:

  • No no no. You go Vegas to Amsterdam. Then you stay in Amsterdam. And you keep staying. And if you remember to get on the plane, then you come back.
There’s a website that does cheap plane tickets for students, have you found that? If not, I can get it.

    • i’m taking summer classes @ Humboldt University so I HAVE to go to berlin haha. and i don’t smoke any way so i don’t know what else i’d do in amsterdam.
right now i’m using studentuniverse.com is there another website?

      • yeah STAtravel.com is AWESOME. I’m flying to Canada for about 25% less than I would if I wasn’t a student, so it’s good. I don’t know anything about studentuniverse.
Enjoy! I might get to go to Egypt!! 😀 I’m so excited at the thought.

  • ooh wow i’m impressed by your adventuring spirit. i don’t think i could go it alone. i’ve always wanted to tour europe!

    • haha you caught me in the middle of a entry edit
at any rate i insist that YOU CAN DO IT!
people keep reminding me that if drunken college frat guys can do it, so can i. well i say this now but when i actually come back from doing it I will inform you how it REALLY goes har har.

  • WOMBY!!! That sounds so fun! You’re going all by yourself? That sounds kind of lonely, but at least you have airhead Joy to accompany you for a week. I hope she doesn’t read your LJ. HA! 8) Either way, I’ll live vicariously through you & our split spirit, except for when you visit joy, than my spirit will depart.

    • Haha. It’s reeeeally scary. But yeah most people that I’ve talked to who have backpacked through said that most of the people they encountered were mostly going at it alone too. Or at most with one other person. That’s apparently the only way to “truly take in the experience”
      apparently
