Damn myself for wasting time, and looking up my schedule for next quarter!!!
I have an 8 page paper to write for my war class: Account for the stupendous growth in size, geographic scope, duration, and intensity of WWII.

Maybe someone wants to help me out w/ some ideas har har har har. So far I’ve got my intro paragraph and my first bodies. I’m up to the 3rd page…sigh. THESIS: Technology was the fundamental reason why the war lasted so long; twas the oil that kept the gears of war continuously turning and turning faster.

Any way, here are the fruits of time-wasting labor:
1) MKTG 446 (4 credits): Implementation Marketing
2) MGMT 300 (4 credits): Managing for Org. Effectiveness
3) SIS 201 (5 credits): Making of the 21st Century
4) SPHSC 100 (3 credits): Speech & Articulation

1) an internship class once more
2) a required class for my major
3) a required class for my minor
4) the last VLPA credits I’ll need to graduate

  • You’re elaborating on how people use oil, right? Otherwise, it doesn’t sound too “technology” to me. Oil would just be a scarce, consumption good. From my economic growth class and the textbook I read, technology is defined as the way or method of how inputs put into the production process are turned into output.
I think of weapons and vehicles/aircraft as technology that would be used in a war, and that it was due to intensive research that led to new ideas and thus fueled the creation and expansion of new technology (like the process of creating the atomic bomb).

    • well… i meant oil as in metaphorically haha.
but yeah im on page 6 right now so ……we’ll see how the rest turns out.
