I’m entering a photo contest for the business school. Basically, they want a picture they can use to advertise to other students to study abroad. I am not allowed to photoshop it, but I am allowed to crop it. Which one of these two pics should I choose to submit and why? Unfortunately, I can only submit one…

Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks a lot!

Soccer game: Herta BSC vs. Wolfsberg
‘Shows the action and excitement at a European football game. It really illustrates European culture.’

and/or

Shrewin Castle in Germany
‘Show’s an old Prussian castle just as the sun comes out from behind the clouds. It epitomizes old Europe and what one would imagine in fairy tales of the Old World.’

  • the second one seems a touch more academic.. do you have anything that business folk would like?

    • hah I do not. come to think of it, i should have taken pics with the german diplomats i met for my class but no matter. thanks for ur input good sir how was ur trip?

  • The second one. I like the contrast between the light coloured castle and the dark, gray sky. The sun coming out makes it like it’s some holy, sacred place or something. Only in Europe do they have castles and moats! Har.
If you could use photoshop, clone some swans on the water. Then it’ll seem more like some dreamy fairytale backdrop. Hahah.

    • hah yeeah thats the appeal of that picture.
