Why would anyone do such a mean-spirited thing? — to get someone talking behind your back, and then dialing you to capture the conversation? I wake up to this today. I suppose I should learn to not sweat them haters, but it’s pretty shocking nonetheless. Where is the last bastion of friendship here in this miserable place? I can’t find it. And frankly, it’s been so long that I’m beginning to stop looking.
