  • At Super Bowl LI, Verizon wanted a signature experience that showed they could connect fans beyond wireless. That led us to create the world’s first VR football game where two players got to battle head-to-head, in real-time.

    Gameplay was designed to function like a next-generation rock/paper/scissors. Players selected between defensive and offensive moves for three downs through their VR headsets. Then, actual plays from NFL playbooks would play out before their very eyes.

    As a result, we reached 5,000 onsite plays, 140k live-stream social views, and 3.6m impressions.
